Im so flattered x

A few weeks ago after posting a photo of Avas room on flickr I was contacted by Ohdeedoh.com  to ask if i they could do a little feature of Avas room on their website's room tours - how on earth could i say no!! I was over the moon and so so flattered. I sent over lots (and lots) of photos of Avas room (after a thorough tidy!!) and answered some questions and then hey presto it was up and live last week. A lovely time at the beach x

I've been a bit quiet lately as i've been away in Devon. The three of us had a lovely break and have come back refreshed and ready for those winter months ahead. We had such wonderful weather for October so there were lots of trips to the beach and lots of sand castle making - oh i do like to be beside the seaside x

A little birthday dress x

Ava's little friend Gabby turned two at the weekend so with my time spent away from the computer i made this little shift dress for her. Its a simple little dress to make and is great for both summer and layered for winter. I'm hoping to make some more of these in different sizes and finally start selling them on Etsy and Folksy - i'm sure i'll blog about them when i do ! x

I feel so all alone x

Oh no Oh no Oh no i cried as my beloved computer (my second baby!) crashed on me over and over again leaving me without the internet and my blog for well over a week now (now you see while i feel all alone). I know its no major tragedy but in my new little world of blogging i feel like disaster has struck on an enormous scale. I have now finally managed to dust off and fire up an old computer so i can at least get on the internet whilst my other computer gets fixed (with a hefty price tag!!). And so until i am able to reconnect properly with the world i must make good use of my time with my sewing machine ( a time which has untill lately had been way too preoccupied with surfing / commenting and blogging) Hopefully though i will be back up and running as soon as i get my little baby back (oh how i've pined!!!) x
